I am 40 years old, fire captain with LA county fire dept. I have 4 herniated discs and have lived with sciatica and severe lumbar pain for the last 8 years. Sometimes my lumbar pain is less or absent with minimal activity, however sciatica has bever stopped. I live in constant pain down my right leg to my foot, I did one treatment and walked out amazed, all day I couldn’t believe the pain was gone. I kept thinking maybe it was hurting, but nope it was gone. Went in 2 days later for another treatment just to make sure it’s gone. Thank you so much Dr, Chen. I still cannot believe I lived in pain this long daily and didn’t know about this treatment. Thank you very much!

Diabetes and knee pain
On this cruise I decided to take the acupuncture seminar. I always was interested but never took the first steps. Dr. Chen, his knowledge and experience is that gave me confidence to try.
I told Dr. Chen I have type 2 diabetes, lower back pains and my knees are always sore.
I signed up for 7 sessions. After two sessions my sugar numbers went from the 130’s to mid 80’s without the usual sweating, blurry vision and stomach trembling. My back, knees, neuropathy pain in my feet were all improved or gone!
I’m now on day 5, my sugar numbers are still much lower, I can take two steps going downstairs while before one step at a time. I’m ecstatic!
If you ever thought about acupuncture and Dr. Chen is available, please let him balance your body. Thank you Dr. Chen you will be in my prayers. (Robert)

Knee pain
I walked into cloud 9 spa for a tour.
Prior to this, 2 years ago I was in an automobile accident and hit on the freeway by a semi-truck. After many tests, it was said that I incurred a bulging disc and lower back pain. On top of all this, I had 3 knee surgeries in my younger years.
All of this bothered me when I decided to try acupuncture with Dr. Chen. I began with a pain level of 7. After session #1 my pain only slightly went down. A 6 at best. After session #2 my pain level decreased to a 3! I was walking up and down stairs on the cruise ship! After my 3rd and final session my pain level was down to a 1.
And I for the first time felt almost no pain in a very long time. Not only did Dr. Chen take away all my pain, he also taught me what I need to maintain once I left the ship! I can now start to exercise again because I am pain free!（Terrie）

Shoulder and ankle pain
Prior to Dr. Chen @ Carnival I have tried acupuncture a few times to relieve shoulder and ankle pain. Also I have experience with cupping. I am very impressed with the results. I love that he learned his skill through his parents. He is very skilled with his profession.
I experienced two sessions with him on the cruise. I felt immediate relief with the first visit. I scheduled a second visit to get me to the next level. I have never been disappointed with any treatments. It is a great non-evasive, successful treatment option. (David)

Chronic back pain
They say that when the student is ready… the teacher will appear. My mind was closed when my consultation began. In the end my desire to stop years of chronic back pain, overcame any skepticism.
In four treatments, Dr. Chen reduced my lower back pain to a level that I have not experienced in the last four months. I had an additional three treatments that were unrelated.
I can honestly say that this an experience like no other in my life. Pain level down (nearly zero) energy level up!

Neck and sciatic pain
While in a vacation cruise I attended Dr. Chen’s seminar on acupuncture for pain management. While he was very persuasive and his seminar was informative, I was still hesitant until he performed the free acupuncture sample. In just a few minutes I was free of the pain in my neck & back of my head. I signed up for 1 session for the sciatic pain that I’d been living with for the last 30 years-sometimes nearly crippling-always chronic. After the one session, my pain was so minimal that I signed up for 2 more sessions. My pain has been relieved! Something I never thought was going to ever happen. In just one week I’ve gained a better quality of life. Thank God for Dr. Chen. (June)

Anxiety and PTSD
Day 1 of the treatment: Imedietly after I felt that tension had left my body. When the first needle was placed I could feel this movement of energy vertically travel through my body.
By the end of my second treatment I was no longer experiencing my withdraw symptoms.
As far as my PTSD by the third treatment I notices I hadn’t had any nightmares since I started.
After the fourth treatment which I felt the strongest, my thinking became more clear, being aware of every movement. My previously broken thumb and wrists became stronger just slightly.
After treatment 5 I was peaceful. (Hope）

Sciatic nerve pain
I attended the acupuncture seminar and was very impressed with Dr. Chen’s knowledge and experience with acupuncture and his confidence in helping to alleviate sciatic nerve pain.
I chose to give him and Chinese medicine a try.
My condition was only 5 weeks old, but the pain level was already at 10.
After 1 treatment my pain level was at ZERO!
My sister has been dealing with this condition for many years.
I am very thankful to have met Dr. Chen.
He is definitely my vacation hero!

Leg and foot pain
How do you say, just awesome!
We went to his first lecture. Were first in the door. Drown to him, I guess. He explained to us about how everything worked at a free consultation.
We sign up for 5 sessions each. I told him I felt a pain in my leg and foot. He told me I had liver and stomach issues. He was spot on! Wow!
Going for fourth tomorrow!

Back pain
This was our first time doing acupuncture and he made it so easy and painless that I wish we had more time in the ship.
He was very very knowledgeable and had a high degree of professionalism.
After 3 sessions we can feel better & the back pain is gone.
